(Editor's Note: We're taking the day off to go frolic at the DMV. In our absence, please enjoy a fun guest post from our friends at Bess Georgette!)
Describing someone as 'spotty' isn't always considered complimentary, especially given that 'spotty' can refer to a person with an inconsistent personality or skin problem. However, the world of spots isn't all bad! After all, who can resist the lure of a lovely polka dot dress or the sense of satisfaction found in completing a 'spot the difference' challenge? We're happy to say that Bess Georgette can help you with both!
Our 'spotty' challenge features an image from an August 1, 1955 issue of Vogue. Pictured are Gwen Verdon and Ray Walston, who starred together in the movie Damn Yankees. Are you able to spot the five differences between the original image on the left and the slightly altered image on the right? While we won't be providing any prizes to those who succeed, we can offer 15% off every item in our store now thru February 11. Simply enter coupon code 'SPOTTY' at checkout. (You'll even find some pretty polka dot pieces waiting to tempt you.)
So what are you waiting for? You only have 'til February 11 to do your bit and help give spots a good name!

ps: I could only find three differences. This is definitely harder than the Highlights Magazine version I'm used to.
Haha!
There are definitely five. :)
I found five...At least I'm pretty sure I did. I tried turning my laptop upside down to look for the correct answers like you used to do on the pages in kids' magazines, but it didn't work.
hmm...i've found 4 so far. it's not easy!
can still only find 3...I'm a loser!
I think Dana deserves a really fancy cookie for finding all five and a nom for "Best Blog Comment of 2011" for her humorous (but not altogether unrealistic) analogy between laptops and children's magazines.
i can only tell one difference... the fork. :(
