Sassy has recently mastered what can only be described as a 'courtesy pee,' or, a negligible release of urine designed to legitimize an otherwise inessential trip outside to sniff around and look at shadows. This is a short video of the sonic prod she's crafted in association with her pee racket.

awww, my little dog is funny when it comes to his "garden ventures". he tends to just silently spin in circles when the urge to pee is there... not good for us i wish he'd vocalise more lol! very sweet dog you have :)
Hah! I have seen Lucy do the same. We usually think it means she really has to pee, but it often is a demand for a treat, which is really annoying.
She uses that "courtesy pee" to extend walks. Lifts the leg like she has to do something but nothing happens. Despite us seeing through all her ruses, she completely has us both wrapped around her paw.

she's a boston terrier, but she's often mistaken for a french bulldog (WHICH, I recently learned, is usually artificially inseminated because the stag is frequently too stout to mount the bitch! Thank You, Animal Planet.)

also, i fear the same fate will befall the human race if some changes are not made...
Gah! Too funny! What a tricky little thing. My dog, Wicket, pees with her leg up like a boy (in addition to the classic courtesy pee maneuver).
