Appearing Soon On Regretsy...

I call this piece "Canine of a Canine." It depicts the devaluation of spirit under late capitalism.

I think you just might make it!

lol. And also--ew! :D Did you have to pull that yourself because of lack of dental vet coverage?

(My little terrier Lucy has had her share of health issues/emergencies, but I'm pretty sure we've spent the most on her teeth. She had to have several bad ones pulled. We now joke that if she catches a bunny in the yard she won't kill it, just give it a nice massage with her gums.)

i should clarify that this is not Sassy Mae's tooth. It's that of her puppy friend. (This is one of the few baby teeth that he's lost that he hasn't simply eaten!) I can't imagine pulling a dead tooth from Sassy's mouth. We would both be horrified, I'm sure!

I love the whole tone of that photo, like an old discarded polaroid, suddenly found on a dusty loor, exuding memories of a late afternoon moment. Its beautiful.
